We are still proud of our first implementation of a ‘subversion system’ in a law firm more than 2 years ago. We believe subversion meets the need for a simple and fast document management solution.

Working in a law firm it is very important that information in a legal file is well organised, can be found quickly and is up to date.
With these requirements in mind XAOP designed for us a filing solution based on the ‘subversion’ system which allows users to keep track of changes made to any type of electronic data. The benefit of this is that all changes or new documents are committed to a server, so that every user in the office can use and work on the latest copy.
Even when we’re not in the office, the systems works well from our notebooks and laptops.
It’s also easy to see the changes that have been made to a given dossier or file, especially when tracking alterations inside our documents made in Word. This record management system will never lose information and even deleted files can be retrieved.
We started using this system 2 years ago and have found it to be a very fast and efficient solution, knowing that all files are permanently up to date for every user.
