New XAOP office

We have moved from the Business Center Zennevallei into our new offices across from the railway station of Halle (Vandenpeereboomstraat 44, 1500 HALLE – Belgium).

We have now officially changed our address. Next week we will be moving our servers, so you can expect some downtime on our support site.

XAOP has been growing organically since 2005 from a 1 person company to a team of 6 and the office in St-Pieters-Leeuw got too crowded. It was time to invest in a new office and some decent furniture and infrastructure.
With the help of Dynaset and Kinnarps we defined the optimal office environment, particularly focused on encouraging collaboration and supporting our work processes.

Joint efforts on EDMS migration at Tibotec

Renascio and XAOP manage the transition for Tibotec to the global J&J repository for electronic submissions in R&D: Renascio is assisting Tibotec in the transition from their current content management system to a new global J&J content management system with a metadata analyzer implementation of XAOP.

Renascio is following a holistic approach to transition people (through communication and change management), functions and processes (through gap analysis/closure and process definition) and data (through data mapping and migration process definition). XAOP provides technical expertise and the technology to simulate the data mapping and migration process definition from the legacy system to the new system.

Earlier this year, the Non-Clinical Development department had to migrate several thousand non-clinical documents from a legacy Documentum environment to Mikado Submissions. We needed a rapid bulk migration followed by a business go-live, in order to ensure a seamless transition from the legacy system to the new one, with no content variation.

XAOP lived up to this challenge and was very proactive in analyzing our requirements and developing a customized solution. Being customer-focused, XAOP was responsive throughout the project to our requests for enhancements of the tool or processes and was able to quickly solve issues. The service provided by XAOP exceeded our expectations.

Eventually, the Non-Clinical Development migration project with XAOP proved to be so efficient that it was accepted as the preferred solution for all migration activities to be performed by other functions within the framework of the Mikado Submissions project. XAOP’s professional and efficient approach saved valuable time and resources.

ReviewNG DRP test run by Avans Hogeschool

A month ago we were contacted by a teacher at Avans Hogeschool asking if they could use our ReviewNG DRP environment in one of their courses. We are always working to perfect our products, so we were happy to have our online distribution planning software subjected to the scrutiny of a group of university students. It turned out to be an interesting experience for both them and us, so be sure to read on.
